NMSU CHME Jeopardy Club

Mission Statement:

The purpose of CHME Jeopardy Club is for its members to apply the knowledge and experience obtained while engaging in the Chemical Engineering Curriculum (B.S. Ch E) Program. The CHME Jeopardy competition is held regionally and nationally by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and it is our goal to compete at the highest levels at both of these events. The main purpose of this organization will also serve to uphold the highest academic standard within the Chemical & Materials Engineering Department, by encouraging high academic achievement and continuous review of each subject within the department, whether each member has taken the course subject or not.

During each meeting/study session, we will be reviewing a different course subject from the Chemical Engineering Academic Curriculum, unless there is a quorum vote held by the club to split certain subjects into two or more sessions. We will also be following the topic list set out by NCEES on the sections/topics we will be tested over on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam -(Chemical Engineering Concentration FE Exam).
